Sync won’t connect to phone

After 6 months with no issues, the Ford Pass app stopped connecting to my car. I’ve called support multiple times to troubleshoot, they told me I’d need to take it to the dealer to asses. The dealer says their is no problem with the car. Anyone else have this issue?

What have you tried so far? Check for Sync updates? Uninstall/reinstall the app? Master reset of Sync?

Maybe try: Delete vehicle from ford pass app, then delete the ford pass app, reboot phone. Re-download the ford pass app, and add the vehicle back in ?

I have deleted and reinstalled the app, reset the entire sync system to factory reset, confirmed with support that they can see my vehicle is online, disconnected battery to reset system. None of this has worked.

Have you tried getting someone else to connect their phone to your car? Maybe it's your phone. PM me if you'd like me to try on my phone.

Assuming you set up the Ford Pass app correctly.
I'm sure these questions are redundant, but you never know.
1. Is the modem turned on in settings.
2. Is the vehicle in an open area.
3. Does the name on the screen match the name on the Ford Pass account.

My phone (Samsung) connected to SYNC fine for a month, then I changed from no lock to a PIN lock. My phone wouldn't connect at all. I changed back to no lock and it connected fine again.
