Just received my email confirmation for my build date and can’t wait. I was wondering if anyone has seat covers with the heated seats? Want to find some nice seat covers but wondering if they work well having heated seats? If so any recommendations on the seat covers?

Most anyone that posts about the heated seats say they're too hot. A cover might be about right if that's true. Generic seat covers fit like crap because they're generic. I'd get the actual Ford covers or something made specifically for the seat if I put a full cover on. I put on these seat pads just for some protection on the suede area.

I have also seen a ton of posts about how they are too hot. Maybe my badlands is just a special snowflake because mine are just perfect. But it's also been consistently under 15 F since I took delivery. If you live somewhere where it like never gets much below freezing, then yeah I could see how maybe they are too hot. But if you have real winter, they are awesome.

For reference, the Owner's Manual warns against using seat cushions or covers with the heated seats:

"Do not place anything on the seat that blocks the heat, for example a seat cover or a cushion. This could cause the seat to overheat. Failure to follow this instruction could result in personal injury."

That’s what I was wondering and… what I was afraid of. May have to go a different route in the winter if and when the heat is wanted or needed. Thanks Mark!
