Almost out of the waiting room. Haven't been super active in this one but for those that don't follow that weekly build thread:

I ordered 10/25 and I’m set for the week of 1/24. You’re probably the same. I would call back and ask for the VIN #.We ordered fully loaded BL on Oct 28. After getting the order in, we have heard nothing from the dealer nor Ford. Called the dealer yesterday. They said when ours was ordered, it was set as a priority 10. When they checked now, they said it was at a priority 1. They expected it to go into production soon. After reading everyone’s experiences here, I don’t recall anyone mentioning a priority system. Is there such a thing or is the dealer guessing about status?
There is a priority system when you order 10 being highest priority and 19 lowest. I have heard it only differentiates that dealers orders. So yours would be scheduled before another bronco sport ordered from that dealer with a lower priority. Thats my understanding, please correct me if Im wrong. Did you ask if you have a VIN assigned? If you have a VIN, you would have a tenative production week.We ordered fully loaded BL on Oct 28. After getting the order in, we have heard nothing from the dealer nor Ford. Gives me hope. I’m 4 days behind you regarding production. One big step closer for my '22 Badlands. Went from in production on 12/17 to built and shipped yesterday 1/5. Supposed to arrive at the dealership by the end of the month.
Priority 1 means it's in the next group to get VINs and production datesWe ordered fully loaded BL on Oct 28. After getting the order in, we have heard nothing from the dealer nor Ford. Thanks. I sure hope that is the plan!Priority 1 means it's in the next group to get VINs and production dates
Thanks for the scoop! The priority is only relative to the other sports the dealer has on order not all orders factory gets. Dealer allocation and priority ford gives a particular dealer had a much larger impact when you get scheduled.
Lucky you! Will call tomorrow. Thanks!I ordered 10/25 and I’m set for the week of 1/24. You’re probably the same. I would call back and ask for the VIN #.
They don't have any other bronco sports coming in at all? If not I would file case with Ford to get deposit back.I’m a broken record around here but a recap:
11/23 I put a $500 deposit on mine under the impression that the car would arrive on 11/28 (this is what I was told by the salesman) which is why I agreed to buy it. I had sold my car the day prior.
11/29 I speak with the salesman, he says he doesn’t have an update. I come here and learn how to track it on my own. I see that it’s still “In Production” and never shipped, despite what I was told by dealership.
12/3 the ETA on tracker is pushed from 12/4 to 1/3 and at some point I learn from here that the units built in June, including mine, had been sitting in Mexico ever since.
1/3 the car finally ships.
1/4 the brake recall hits my VIN, and apparently no parts available until April-June.
I understand that I haven’t waited as long as a lot of you, but I also only agreed to buy it because I was told it would be here the following week. Now I don’t have a car, and apparently won’t for the next 4 months.
Why shouldn’t I be refunded my $500? Non-refundable is fine when you’re being honest about the transaction. Same dealership who tried to sell me on the market adjustment because it “includes a free tank of gas”.
I’ve bought from Chevy, Toyota, Lexus and Dodge and never had nearly as bad and dishonest of an experience as I’ve had with Ford. What a huge mistake I’ve made.
