Just hit 15,000 miles on my First Edition. I was the first one to have mine delivered and got to post on here giving everyone some idea of what to look forward to. I am extremely happy with my purchase after almost a year now. I have taken it off-roading, done plenty of highway driving, lots of stop and go traffic in So-Cal and everything in between.

So far my only issues I've run into was my front camera/sensor had an error and had to be replaced at 9,000 and my paint chip on the front bumper that happened at 2,000. Otherwise I've been lucky enough not to be hit with any of the recalls or any mechanical issues.

I've been driving with my yakima tent and yakima aero cross-bars and still get 21-24 mpg. I just wanted to give a life update since I'm kind of the super Guinea pig.

How are things with the RTT? I assume the FE comes with the sunroof and I have a BL/BL. I’m concerned about the weight restrictions for the roof but I would love to slide my RTT up there. About how much weight do you have up too and how has it been carrying that around up there?

The Tent is great, the one I have is only 98 pounds it's the 2 person yakima one. The weight restrictions are fine. I believe it's like 600lbs static and 150 dynamic weight. It doesn't feel top heavy in the slightest either. The sun roof still has plenty of clearance to open, the only issue is on the highway with the whipping sound off the tent but I don't always keep it on there for road trips.

Thanks for the update! I have 10,000 miles on my BL/BL and zero mechanical issues. Never been back to the dealership. It's great little vehicle for us. Does everything we need it to do. All I've done to it is upgrade to KO2's 245/65/17. Still has the Wildpeak AT3's in this pic.

Posts like these get me pumped for mine. Can't wait to shoot some drone shots driving it.

Great report. I have an FE with a VIN that has slipped by all of the recalls so far. Mileage in City has been 23 using sport mode. It does have much more surprising pep! 27on Hwy using cruise. If I drive 65 I can get 28 but that is too slow for Michigan traffic. No issues with features. Goat modes work as advertised. I have gone off road on trails and gravel too. Sometimes it floats on heavy gravel due to power of 2.0 engine so I have to back off power. No complaints so far. First Oil change at 3000. I am member of Amsoil and used Signature Series 5 30 Synthetic oil. I will do Oil lab test at 10000 change to see wear tear of city driving. No complaints with anything else!

Are you going to post your oil lab report in this thread? I would like to see your results.
