I have brought my car in three different times now. I had front suspension and all components replaced including CV joints, bushings ect… it was good for awhile. Then I took it out to the desert, and while driving through gravel, sand and washboard the clanking sound came back. It almost sounds like skid plates slamming together. It’s a metallic sound and originates from the left front of the car. Took the car apart, front bumper all the way off, all skid plates and plastics, wheels. Then inspected and righted every bolt I could. Sound is still there. Any one else have any idea of what this could be or something that I did not see? No frame or bolt or mount of any sort seems to be cracked or loose. I am at a complete loss. Thanks to all that replies!
