Showing the Escape some love : )

I've had my BS/BL for 3 years now and love it... but gotta be honest... came across these pics and starting to love on the older cousin... the Escape. Yes, I know no where near as capable for us that actually take our BS off road.. but gotta say love the looks. Sort of the opposite of the boxy style of the BS... which I do love as well since every other car, SUV and Crossover look the same.

Heck I'm thinking of adding the ESCAPE emblem/s to my BS and calling her the Raptor edition... heheh about as close as I'll come to owning a Raptor anything, lol.

Your Bronco Sport is much nicer. Sadly I feel Ford made the current Escape totally without character.

We had 3 Escapes in the past. Liked the 2013 and 2017 better than the 2020. Just didn't feel as substantial as the older ones. Now have a Bronco Sport and a Maverick.

Ford has redesigned the Escape...slightly for the better. In 2020, we bought a used 2017 Escape for our daughter. I hated it. Glad she got rid of it in 2023.

I agree with you 100 % Like I said I love the block that is my BS... but always liked and still do like the look of a Porsche Panamera... And yes I'll barely be able to make it over a speed bump to get into most campgrounds... lol This escape just gives me that vibe for pennies on the dollar : )

The spousal unit drives a 2020 Escape. She loved it. I don't particularly care for the shape because it looks like every other crossover out there. But it's a great example of the axiom "form follows function." The Escape and Badlands share a platform (driveline and chassis) but hers: 32+ mpg on the highway, mine: 26 mpg highway.
