Badlands with Bang & Olufsen upgrade. Volume from rear speakers very low. Mobile dealer check confirmed problem by comparing sound to another BS. Now going into shop for replacement DSP module. Anyone with a similar experience? Fixed? Thanks.

I’ve had to adjust the fade almost all the way to the rear and the volume up to 12-15 just to hear anything out of them

Subwoofer Extremely Lacking in B&O System

“Subwoofer is wired with the front speakers only. When you fade to the rear the subwoofer cuts out completely. Fade forward and subwoofer gradually comes back in.”
“Ford’s literature on the subwoofer says it’s a 6x9. 160x236mm. That’s a mid. There’s no actual subwoofer. Hence the dsp cutoff.”

I don’t have that system but thanks for the tip

Agreed. I don’t have the uplevel B&O system in my Sport. I’m not much of an audiophile so I wouldn’t even be able to tell if I did have it. But while I do agree the standard rear speakers are smallish. I too solved the issue on mine by ramping up the rear fade quite a bit. For my modest audio pickiness, the stereo is fine now.
