2021 vs 2022 outerbanks cross rails.

Hello,

A year or so I upgraded from a 2021 outerbanks to a 2021 badlands and ended up with a set of OEM cross rails from the outerbanks.

I ended up selling them to someone who has a 2022 outerbanks, as it had said in the part description on ford's site it would fit 2021-2023 ( this link no longer exists)

But the person I sold them too said they don't fit.

Are the rails on the 2022 outerbanks a different shape/size than the 2021??

Inform the customer that there is a front and back bar . They must be exact.

After some looking around, I noticed the rails listed here specifically mention not fitting on the 2021 outerbanks:

So seems like maybe there is some difference.

Yes they are different. For 2023 model year, OB adopted the BL off-road style cross bars.

If you remove the rubber pad/bushings, they will fit a 2022.
