I haven't installed the shims but read they help with the uncomfortable seat. It elevates the front to angle a bit higher than the rear. I feel like I'm sliding forward a lot of the time.

Here is what I am trying...

https://desertdoesit.com/products/adjustable-front-seat-jackers-2021-2022-ford-bronco

I've had these on my BB for about 3,000 miles. Its been night and day difference for the better, as far as seating position. I had the same feeling of sliding forward before adding the shims.

I joined the forum to learn and ask questions regarding the BS. I'm not hating on it, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. Not a single vehicle I have ever owned is perfect, this BS included. I came here looking for some help but seems like I just found a troll instead. Thanks for not contributing to my original question.
I'm not a troll. nor do I appreciate being called out as one. As of late, there have been lots of posts on folks who have bought a BS, only to be discouraged with the readings on recalls or issues with features that fail, or dealer whoes.

My attempt was to input some humor into post #12 of this thread. Actually, you'd be surprised to find that some Jeep dealers indeed have a trail set up for test drives. Too bad Ford dealers don't do this, as it might have helped you with your decision to buy or not to buy.

Feel free to block me if you'd like.

My apologies to you. I'll refrain from posting on your threads. I hope you have many happy years of ownership with your new Bronco Sport.

Did you install both shims or just one ?

Both shims.
How difficult was it to install? I haven't done it yet but I noticed a torx head screw under the plastic foot cover. Do you just unscrew that torx and slip in the shims?

No worries and no need for me to block you. You are welcome to post on any of my threads or posts as long as it focuses on the discussion or topic at hand. The choppy ride of the BS isn't to my liking but that doesn't mean I didn't test drive or realize what I was buying. On the contrary, I purchased knowing full well I was planning to modify and upgrade as I do almost all my vehicles. The suspension is just where I will probably start because I don't personally think the BS is very comfortable for daily driving for my liking. The seat is very uncomfortable and the choppiness bothers me. So I plan to improve things to my liking. And this forum, like many others I'm part of, should be a place for sharing and supporting. Hence my original question to see if anyone had found parts or methods for improving the daily driving experience. After suspension, my next mod is probably off the shelf tuning of the engine. I have another thread where I'm asking for input on that topic. Thanks.

Yup indeed. Loosen up the rear two torx and remove/replace the front two when you add the shims. Just took a few minutes.

What? They won't let us drive them through some soft dirt and mud? Maybe a few rocky terrains?

We have to make sure our coffee does not spill.
FWIW the dealer where i get my Fords from always let me test drive them without the salesmen going with me.Next time i test drive one i'm going to look for some bumpy roads or mud holes. :)

I have to ask, only because you mention above quite a few items you do not like....

What do you like about it? It appears you will be spending a lot to make this BS to your liking.

I tried... but appears you are indeed a troll. The fact you said you're cool with my blocking you after one exchange should have tipped me off, you must be used to being blocked.

"noun: troll; plural noun: trolls
1. a person who makes a deliberately offensive or provocative online post."

Since when does ONE item equal quite a few items? I don't like the uncomfortable ride due to the choppiness, i.e., ONE thing. The seat adjustment is in attempt to improve the ride comfort due to the choppiness.

Again, thanks for NOT contributing to the original question in the post and instead try and call me out for either not test driving or wondering if I even like the vehicle. I assume thats what you are trying to get at with your troll questions. Right?

I'll state again, I would not have bought the BS if I didn't like it. Making a 30k+ investment without knowing what you're buying doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Have you ever purchased an absolutely perfect vehicle where you had zero things that you didn't wish were even slightly better ?

PS, of all the members posting on this thread, you are the only one that hasn't offered any advice regarding my question. All you have done is try and call me out or question whether I test drove or even like my vehicle. Those aren't helping answer my question or contributing in a positive manner to a brand new member of this forum. This is my first ever post and thread.

"A well-constructed troll will provoke irate or confused responses from flamers and newbies"

I appreciate you identifying yourself so early on. #troll.

@Bucko has been contributing on this forum for quite some time--you're the first to call him a troll. My suggestion would be to take a look through a user's post history before making those kinds of accusations.

Forums like this are most effective when users limit their attacks to arguments rather than individuals. If you feel like you need to make a personal attack you should probably make it a private rather than public message.
