Yes that would be the one. I could turn it in once the recall is active at dealership but several have reached out interested so for a couple hundred they can get it… I just don’t want to ship it. Otherwise I will hold and collect my $350 when the time comes.

So with knowledge and aforethought, you are not just willing but desiring to resell an item deemed to be unsafe by the NHTSA to an individual who, it could be logically argued, is likely to install it on their, or another, vehicle, consequently creating an unsafe condition in which you are a party?

I am just trying to understand why anyone would knowingly sell an unsafe item on the open market for less money than they can get by returning it to FORD and removing it from circulation, (in accordance with the recall).

Maybe I'm just to old to understand.

So many noted they wanted to buy even knowing about the recal so I just posted it - didnt think it thru I guess. What they wrote makes sense so I removed the listing. And NO I’m NOT that person ?? when the recalls official. Let me know.
