Auto Hold System Fault message has appeared on my dash multiple times. My 22 Bronco Sport has been in the shop many times, each time it was "fixed" only to have it occur again. I have contacted Ford about a buyback...
Anyone else have this problem?

No problems with 2021 with auto-hold, have they checked the emergency brake? Some have had that problem, I believe there is a TSB about it.

Yes, checked all braking systems, replaced part of wiring harness for Auto hold under center console, 2 sensors, now waiting for ABS module replacement, but 2 months on backorder. I Love my Bronco, but this is ridiculous!

No problems and I love that feature. Always have it on. Only problem I had was water pump at 5700. it’s an awesome vehicle!

I recently had this happen, but I figured out I had set my purse between the seats and it must have been too heavy on the auto hold button, as it gave me the fault message. I moved my purse, but the alert would randomly come on in my short drive home, but once I turned the car off, it was fine the next time I drive it. It happened once before when I very first got my bronco, my dog was in the front seat, and he laid across the button and the same thing had happened.. I hope your fix is as simple as mine was. Good luck!

Wow, that was an easy fix! I do have pocketbooks and Also a dog, but my message has occurred when I am alone in the car and my handbag is on the front seat also! But I will pursue this information also! Thanks!!! Nana

Yeah don’t put anything near that microwave knob/button area. Back in 2021 one of the forum members had a scrunchy get eaten by the shift knob, not sure how they got it out…

Popped up yesterday evening while driving. Nothing was even close to the button and have no idea why this would pop up while I'm driving 50+ mph.

I never had a warning but the damn thing comes on seemingly at its own will. A couple days I have it, then it's gone without me (knowingly) turning it on or off. I have also noticed when it's on and I pare my iPhone, it remembers it... until the auto hold goes away, then so goes my iPhone as well...weird
