Does the oil separator fill up any? If it does I would keep it. If not remove it and keep the cover.Well folks if you have an oil separator like I do, the engine cover cannot be installed as you can see from my pics that itās in the way. So now Iām undecided as to what to do, sell the engine cover or take off the oil separator. Iām bummed.

Why? Worried about trapping heat? This one sits up off the engine a couple inches and has vents. The cover was only slightly warm after a good drive. I love it!I'd go with only a plastic/vinyl cover.
I like the oem material and not a fan of an aftermarket JC Whitney look but that's me but I may change my mind. Why? Worried about trapping heat? This one sits up off the engine a couple inches and has vents. The cover was only slightly warm after a good drive. I love it!
? @ the JC Whitney⦠I purchased the Lincoln one. Perfect fit and I donāt mind the Lincoln badge on it (it can be easily removed). Same family. We had VW/Audiās for generations and when opening the hood on either youāll see both logos on the various parts and trim prices throughout.I like the oem material and not a fan of an aftermarket JC Whitney look but that's me but I may change my mind.![]()
