Wow are the chips getting bad and many. Hood and roof over windshield. The piece below the grill and the front edge of the fenders next to the headlight surround. Even the little edge right above the windshield. Hope it holds up. Just an observation.

I don’t follow closely. The roads are horrible and work zones are poorly cleaned after scraping and before repaving. I’ve only replaced the windshield once and crazy as it sounds the stone came in slow motion from an adjacent lane from a BMW 3 car lengths ahead as best as I could tell since there were no other cars on the road.

After delivery I got the front clip wrapped in ppf. Not a single chip in the paint going on 32k miles. It's not too late and well worth it if you plan to keep your BS for a few years.

11,000 freeway miles and not one chip.

Shouldn't speak those words!

I know I got 2 good strikes one on the hood and one just above the windshield because of the mark it left in the PPF, the paint is perfect underneath. 80% of my driving is on the highway.

What is pff? I hate spell correction?
PPF (short for paint protection film) is a vehicle protection wrap that you can have installed to protect your front end. I think it might be a good option, especially if you’re taking it off-road. Has anyone else done this?
