Agreed buddy. I'm impressed everytime I go 4x4 or off the grid. I always make it back with 0 body damage.

In my egos defense, TFL also didn't want me to air down, go in 4-low or use my recovery boards so it's more relatable which I agree with. If I had all that and a little momentum with the throttle to bump it I could have three-wheeled it up that section??. But….. it was an amazing fun experience regardless.

Experiencing the ranch was a blast and I'll never forget it??.

Mine is the same model and color, I'm using Toyo AT III 245s instead of the KO2s. These are very good off road and on narrow trails. I am considering adding the Rough Country bull bar with lights. Considering how good the headlights of the BS are, how much do the 4 round lights add to it? If it's only a marginal improvement I may use KC Flex Era lights on the bar.

245 toyo AT are reputable. I've also heard good things with wheelin' in greese or nasty mudd.

I wish I opted out of the headlights with my nudge bar so I could have had room for a winch.

SLIPPERY is the WRONG mode for this -- of the available, Sand mode would have been the best choice. Slippery mode limits power/wheel spin and was the worst choice.

I think Alex from TFL forgot that only the badlands trim has rock crawl mode or I'm quite and they needed more content which was probably the case.

I dont recall what Mud and Ruts does exactly, but you don't have that mode either. That would have been the other, Badlands-available mode I'd have tried.

> go in 4-low

Unless I'm missing some modification you've made, we don't have 4-low!

"4L" typically refers to a low-range gear in a transfer case. There is no such device in your Bronco Sport. No one here (that I'm aware of) knows for certain exactly what the "L" button on the shifter does. Here's what the owner's manual says:

With your vehicle in drive (D), press the low (L) button to activate low mode.
  • Provides maximum engine braking.
  • You can shift the transmission into low (L) at any vehicle speed.
  • Is not for use under extended or normal driving conditions and results in lower fuel economy.
Based on that, my best guess is the "L" button forces the transmission to remain in a lower gear (prevents upshifting), but which gear at what speed is not specified.

The "low" button on the non badlands editions just locks the transmission in first gear as you mentioned, this was listed on a few articles but I cannot seem to find them now
