In my last 2 Ford vehicles I changed the visor mirror lights to LED. They are a much whiter and bright light. Does anyone know how or if the lenses on these lights pop out on my OBX?

I do not know how these pop out but owners manual claims the interior lamps are LED.

The other interior lights are LED. The mirror lights look more like incandescent to me. They are much dimmer and have a yellowish tint. The same as the other mirror lights I've replaced in other vehicles.

They are probably already LED.
They are much dimmer and yellow. I thought LED were a much brighter light. I changed out these bulbs in my previous 2 vehicles, and that was the case.

Perhaps you could buy a vanity mirror from a wrecked ‘21/‘22 for cheap at a salvage yard and use it to experiment on for taking out the light?

In my opinion, they are definitely not LED. The color of the light or the brightness really doesn't tell you anything because there could be a gel in front of the bulb and LEDs can be any color including yellowish.

You can tell by the way they turn on and off. You can get them to slightly fade before turning off by moving the cover to the right spot. LEDs are capable of dimming, but not like that. The map lights have a chip in them that causes them to fade on and off. Also, the vanity lights get pretty warm to the touch.

I actually like the warmer vanity lights a lot. If I'm in the car and want some indirect light, I half open the visor and pop open the mirror. The LEDs map lights are very harsh.
