Hello everyone,
I had been watching the Bronco space since the moment I heard the big Bronco came with a manual transmission. Unwilling to wait months/years plus ADM for a vehicle, I looked at the Sport. I found/drove/bought mine at a dealer an hour away who actually had a car on site they would sell at MSRP. (The times are weird.)
It’s a wonderful little beast. I’ve already been skiing three times and am looking forward to more uphill fun when warm season arrives. For now, here’s a picture from Monday’s trip to A Basin (pictured is Loveland Pass, a few feet under 12k feet. Temp outside was -3 degrees F, or -30 with the wind). We didn’t stop on the return because the weather and visibility were both much worse.
The gas mileage has been impressive (28 or more) and it is entertaining to return home with more miles remaining on the tank than at the top of the pass. The big downhill messes with the machine’s calculations. The automatic transmission has been a joy to drive, an unexpected surprise. I hope I can drive this BS for a very long time.
