Took (my) first decent drive in the Baby Bronc yesterday. Headed up to the family cottage, which is about 50 miles from home. Got almost 30mpg, which I consider decent. At this time of year, the roads that the cottage is located on are bombed out, and best traversed by a Hummer or Duece and a half, but the wife's BS made it safely (with only a tiny bit of exaggeration for effect). I left the driveway uncleared to test ground clearance in not very deep snow.

That looks like it's only about 3" deep. Almost anything can drive in that with or without snow tires.

Speaking as a guy raised in Alaska.

We haven't had any real snow to speak of this year. The worst part of getting here were the potholes, which are normal. If there'd been legit snow and ice, the BS would have been equipped with some serious snow tires on a set of steelies. The temp is suppose to hit the low to mid 40's today. That's normal for this part of Nova Scotia in March. One year we even had a week of 85-90 degree weather in March, but it went right back to 40-50 Fahrenheit for the first of April.

We have had multiple 6+ snow events this year, I can’t speak for the other trims, but my Badlands with the optional Falkens AT’s is a true beast when it comes to snow. But, after the first time, I won’t use slippery mode. It might be good on ice, but I don’t like the loss of throttle response.
