When we took delivery of the OBX we loved the sound of the B&O system but within the first two days the driver front speaker seemed to have blown despite never turning the volume over "15". Ford ordered a replacement and swapped it out but now here we are a few weeks later and a similar buzzing is coming from the speaker.

Part of me wonders if its not blown but mounted loose or something?

Anyone else have any speaker issues with their B&O system?

Thanks in advance
I did too, I have a BL. The dealer couldn't reproduce the sound, yet I hear it every day. :(

I had this problem too. I was able to reproduce it by downloading a tone generator app on my phone and playing it on the stereo via bluetooth. I then swept the tone frequency until I found the frequency that caused the loudest vibration. When I took my door apart, I found a couple of loose clips.

Dynamat and wrap the clips tight. There’s a bunch of clips in each door. It’ll get rid of it. The dealer won’t do anything. It took me two different dealers over a few months to get a blown speaker replaced that it shipped with.

I have the exact same issue in my ‘21 BL since I bought it. Thought I was hearing things. Glad it’s not all in my head because it’s quite irritating with the right song playing on the system. I get a rattle in the passenger side too.

It’s really disappointing because I splurged on the B&O in contrast to the standard car stereo I had on my ‘14 Focus hatch. Focus stereo was better? Lol.

IDK about the 18 speaker B&O in the f150 but the 10-14 B&O systems are absolute garbage in all the fords. The revel in lincolns is a completely different animal

Most likely what you are hearing is all the wire connection points to the door panel. They are sort of loose and allow some movement. I, and some others, have solved it by using some dynamatt (or equivalent) on the inside door panel. See some pictures here. If you are going to dig in this far, I would recommend you put in new speakers at the same time.

Thanks so much Meanderthal! Perhaps a project to take on in the summer.

I have the same issue on my 2023 Badlands. I don't think the speaker is blown but there is a buzz/rattle in the drivers side front door / A pillar area. Its especially bad with voices on pod casts. I'll have to pull the door apart and see what I can find.
