I just need some help. I’m planning to buy a/t tires for my outer banks. Im trying to choose between 235/60/18 and 245/65r18. Can any one help me which one will perfectly fit without any lifts? Thank you.

245/65/18 will limit your choices. Not all manufacturers will have that dimension, from the last time I looked. I’ve seen a handful of peeps post 235/60/18 and been satisfied. It is a 29” tire. I went with 235/65/18 after chatting with the folks at @Discount Tire went with Toyo Open Country AT3 and have really enjoyed them. I believe those will still fit with no lift and I believe I have seen one on here with those and no lift.

that is great. Did you had any issues with your 235/65? Scrubbing etc? Im planning to get a nitto nomad grappler. Really nice tires on your bronco. We have the same color ?

No issues but I do have a lift. You can see still plenty of room.

You will have no issues with the 235 or 245 18” that you mentioned. Just note that a lift would not affect the tires that fit.
You currently have 225 so an increase to 235 is a nice balance for A/T tires and not sacrificing mileage or noise. 245 are better looking (to most people) but come with slightly worse noise and mileage.
Do a search in these threads for 235 18 and 245 18. Many threads, many opinions but I really liked my Toyo at 235 18’s.

I'm currently running 245/60/18 without a lift and there is no rub at all. Limited in tire choices though. The 65 profile might start to rub though

Thank you for the info. I might consider the 245/60s. I don’t go off roading. Mostly on highways. Did your 245s made a change on the mileage?

I can't comment on that as I switched the wheels before I left the lot. But I'm getting around 10L/100km before I put my roof tent on.

Thank you. I might go for the 245/60s. Luckily i just checked and they have that size on the tires that i like. A nitto nomad grappler. Any thoughts about those tires?

I'm personally going to be getting Pirelli Scorpion AT+ tires on 17 inch motegi wheels as that's what's available locally. I've never had Nitto tires.
