Reserved BS Outer Banks at the dealership with expected delivery date by Nov 24th. Fast forward to today and it's been pushed back to Dec 31st. Ford tells me the last update is from October 6th in Nogales, AZ but it's still in transit with no holds. Build date was 9/30/2022. Anyone else have this issue?

P.S. I have the railcar number but it's from October 4th so I don't think it's accurate anymore.

This is super common. Could be a few things. Nogales is the first "checkpoint" for trains entering the US from Mexico. It could be held up due to thorough cargo searches, railway delays, waiting to switch onto another train, waiting for more cars to be headed on your same route, or the system could just not be updating and it is actually moving.

Transport is the trickest part of the entire order process. Mine sat in the rail yard in Mexico for 2 months with the tracker never saying it shipped. Never moved. Then just showed up at my dealership one random Friday afternoon months after it was completed. I had been waiting and stressing for 50 days and there it was in front of me, covered in red railway dust but as perfect as I imagined it. Patience does pay off, I promise.

Yes, listen to Kris. Her wait was longer than mine but I had a similar scenario. I never got any train information after Nogales and I just suddenly got a call from my dealership that it had arrived. I didn't really get anxious about it until the shipping started and that turned out to be the most stressful part. I know it is hard to just relax at this point but believe me it's the best answer.

That’s good to hear. Patience is the hardest part! Crazy that ford doesn’t track million of dollars worth of cars but Amazon tells me when the truck with a 5 dollar item is 2 stops away

You are not the first to express this sentiment about tracking. In this case you have to realize that once it leaves the factory, it has nothing to do with Ford. What I mean is that Ford does not own or control any of the process of getting your vehicle from the factory to the dealership. It’s also worth stating that the dealerships are also not owned/controlled by Ford (they have some ability to twist their arm, but really less than we all would like).

Found out from the dealership today that it’s sitting in a holding lot with other bronco sports to get a water tube and something else replaced… ford chat told me there was no hold… hopefully shows up to dealer randomly!
