I stumbled on this older thread and giving it a bump... I'd like to hear more; There's a lot of positive vibes in this thread.

What's my favorite thing about my BS? I put that in my forum signature:

IMHO: The BS is the best all-gas Bug Out Vehicle and Daily Driver in one... My choice for when the SHTF and people are killin' each other over a tank of gas.

I still love the styling; it looks like a little tank or old land rover. not like all the new jellybean or bullet style suvs on the road. tonnes of cargo room. off road capability is top notch. fuel economy is good for an suv. aftermarket support is growing to make these lil guys even more trailworthy.

I'm sitting here looking at the generated images of my order wishing I could just instantly build it and teleport the vehicle into my garage. To hold me over, I'd love to hear some of your favorite things about your Bronco Sport. Pictures are also appreciated!
We’ve had our BS BL since Feb 2021. Two winters and Seattle summers. There are so many things we love about the Sport.

Driving in the snow is “boring” and that’s good. Trusty.

Installing the ham radio was a snap and made me appreciate the little details the engineers did to make it so.

After taking the Bronco Off Roadeo, I’m a believer in how capable it truly is. And it’s winning stats at the Rebelle Rally prove it.

We have loved how convenient it is for overland camping. Especially with the lights in the lift gate and the power outlets. Attaching the tent to the back is awesome.

I have grown to love the rotary shifter. Surprise!

I love how easy it is to clean (rubber lined floor boards) and great materials throughout.

Boxy lines, incredible turning radius, great visibility. It is economical in town and trustworthy out there. It hits the mark for us.

and I am really happy to be part of his forum. Great community. I like it when BS drivers around here wave at each other.

It's good enough to kick around in the snow and ice while I still wait for my 2dr badlands squatch.

I think this vehicle is very comfortable to drive. I like that there is more headroom because its taller and I think the seats are just the right size (I also am finding I really like the heated seats now that it is winter). I am a super commuter 2 days a week - my round trip is 226 miles those days. So I'm in my vehicle a lot, and I like to take off and explore on the weekends. I got my Big Bend July 15, 2022 and I have 12,400 miles on her. I've done 2 oil changes, the dealership fixed a dash panel rattle for me, and I've replaced one windshield. Sometimes my brakes moan when I back up out of the drive in the morning. That's it and in my opinion that doesn't take away from my driving experience and are things that you can run into with ANY new car. Plus I think she looks cool - not a carbon copy of all the other SUVs out there.

I believe their motto is.
If you want your vehicle to feel like it has 10x the miles as it already has, buy a Ford. Like going to the shop weekly or waiting months for parts, well then Drive a Ford.

Right? It's been literally DECADES since I've been able to clean the floors in my car with a whisk broom. Sweep it out, then wipe it using the towel I used to dry the car with and I'm done.

Ditto! I wave even if no one waves back. If they don't wave back I simply say to myself it's for me, not for them. Makes me feel good.

Although we don't have ours yet, I did test drive the trim we got last year (Cactus Grey Outer Banks) What I love most about it is the retro-modern styling. Just like its Maverick counterpart, it looks like nothing else on the road. It's so unique and gets looks no matter where it goes. Also, the features-per-dollar value. To me, the Outer Banks is the sweet spot because it's the most luxury oriented trim and can be had in the mid-high 30s which isn't too bad. That still undercuts the average new car price by $10K+. And for having a turbo 3-cylinder, you would never even know it. It sounds and accelerates like a typical turbo 4-cylinder. It's more than adequate for around-town driving and gets decent fuel economy for being a boxy vehicle. I can't wait for ours. It's supposed to be built today but so far, I'm hearing nothing but crickets in my email. Hopefully it's not another delay that they're not telling me about.

My favorite feature is the keypad on the door which allows me to lock the keys in the car. I paddle a surfski (a type of kayak), and used to carry my keys in a small pelican case that was strapped to the boat. Now, I securely leave the keys safe in the car. I can do the same thing for other outside activities.

I've had my BS OB for almost 2 months so far. Its been flawless. Its very solid. I came from a Ford Focus ST with 6sp manual, 250HP, and Recaro seats. While I miss the Recaro's - and they're not for everyone, I'm very happy with the Sport.
