I've been trying to get the climate controls on the 8 inch screen. I've tried everything in forscan, I see posts talking of "APIN" BUT its not listed anywhere. I have a 22 BL sport.

It’s the APIM Module. Use the FORSCAN screen similar to this (pics are from other posts including one guy from
Mexico thus this pic shows some Spanish but u aren’t likely to see anything but English).

Thats the problem I have, there is no "APIM" anywhere I've tried everything under Forscan. Could I be missing a chip or some other reason the APIM isn't showing up?

It's there, just need to look. APIM is the settings for radio/nav, etc ...

I see/ know what its for,and I even had a neighbor good with forscan ect and its not listed anywhere.
this is a good primer on use of FORSCAN, it’s lengthy but I recall info there which will help you with your APIM issue.

And just take a video of what you are doing and the let’s all see what modules you have and why APIM seems to be MIA.

Please take the video from the beginning so we see all the steps you are doing

and also did you follow the steps to back up your data first? In case you need to recover.

Every BS has an APIM module. Even if you have the plain six-speaker system with no nav. It's there.

I'm having trouble with this as well. I have Forscan working and have enabled all 7 items listed in the APIM module. They saved fine and still show as enabled after engine cycles, even days later, but the option never came up on my display. Is there a second item needed or enabling them in a set manner? 2021 Badlands, no dual climate.

I added climate controls to my 2023 Outer Banks and all worked well. I added the heated steering wheel. I will have to look some more to add the heated seats. I noticed that there was an enable for rear controls. I presume that that would be added to the screen as well? Anyone tried that?

I added the heated steering wheel.
I assume you replaced both the HVAC control unit and your steering wheel. Did you make a post detailing the process? If so, can you link to it?

No. Mine already had the dual controls and heated steering wheel so no hardware changes (just firmware configuration.) Mine just did not display climate controls on the sync screen like it does now. I will post something when I enable the heated seats and see if the rear controls will display. I plan to develop a spreadsheet just for the Bronco Sport starting with the APIM module and will share that when done.
