I got the dreaded Email again. This time it doesn’t even say they will update me every 45 days….I truly am on Hooligans island alone.?? I feel like Tom Hanks on Castaway……Wilsonnnnn……

They won't update in 45 days cause they know you will be driving it by then.

I tracked my rail car to the Shelbyville rail yard (and beyond to make sure it really had been there). Ford still has it in St. Louis, almost a week behind where it actually is. Nobody has the ability to fix it, so I get to wait for Ford to unf*** another cluster.

Well I made the mistake of thinking maybe the trackers were behind again (not many have had to wait a week between "built" and "shipped" but, looks like I'm another lucky one. I checked with Ford and still sitting in Mexico "awaiting shipment"! I really need to stop looking!

Isn't 10 miles from dealer? Maybe drive over to holding lot see if you spot it?

Tempting to do that, however until the system is updated @Ford Motor Company won’t transport it to the dealer. I asked them to refresh the page or do whatever they need to do to update it, but FordChat says they have no control over the info they receive from the rail yard. Maybe when the car gets back to St. Louis they’ll wonder how that happened and fix it.

We build F-150s and Explorers here, this rail yard receives AND ships. Most of those are on their way out of town.

According to Ford mine is still in Madison, Illinois when it has actually traveled through my rail yard in Shelbyville, Kentucky to Chattanooga and is well on its way back to St. Louis, so yours could very well be on its way and they have no clue.

I got a "it shipped" email this morning. I'm not holding my breath though. I've been lied to before about the delivery date, we are only 3.5 MONTHS beyond the originally promised date. Projected delivery is October 2.
