For anyone still paying attention, I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Relations and they told me my BS is in production now with an estimated delivery date of 19 September.

I got the VIN from them but I can’t get the Ford tracking site to work, maybe it is just acting up right now, as per usual.

That is awesome! So excited for you. Much better news than getting the build date.

So, the status changed, still in Madison (I think). First it said TOLS Madison, Illinois and now it says TOLD Madison, Illinois. Any idea what either of those mean?

Norfolk Southern, for 2.5 days it just said it had arrived at the Madison interchange (after being at ESL for 24 hours). Then this afternoon it said TOLS Madison, Illinois with a time of 9:00 something AM. Changed to TOLD at 2:45, then later said the same thing with an updated time of 3:50. It has stayed the same since.

I don’t know why Ford would lie. The dealer is always suspect but I see no reason for corporate to lie.

Nice! I'm still at confirmed, guessing not only am I behind you but i think i have a couple more options slowing me down. I'm just happy to be bumped up to next week! I have a good friend who works for BNSF and he said he'd track it for me once I can get a rail car number.

Can he hook me up as well? We're talking Mexico to AZ in 2 weeks or less, so it'd be nice to nail this down to the day so I can take off work. My dealer told me it'll offload in Phoenix and get trucked the 3 hours to here.

I'd be happy to ask him, but I'm not sure if it'd track, depending on the rail line. I live in a Port City that's heavy with BNSF. I'm hoping it makes it to my city on the rail versus stopping in another town, that would make the trucking portion much shorter, but who knows how these things work.

Appreciate it. It's all a mystery. Do you have a window sticker sitting there for you yet? I'm kind of astounded I went from "Boo, 3 more weeks" to it being in production so suddenly.
