It has to do with when you started on OrderTrack. It keeps counting days even after built and shipped. I’m at 59 days 7 hours.
That’s what I thought too. I’m at 60 days 11 hours but @KatieF34 is in the 90 something hours. Our invoiced dates are all the same, as well as in production and born on 7/4. It’s not so important in the scheme of things, just another confusing thing. Something to ponder while waiting. Haha.
I think in a more or less "normal" market I'd have some recourse too. Dealer said I could reorder, but I think that means I'd lose my "price protection" from Ford and as we've all experienced, no one can accurately tell when I'd get the car I want. All of which frustrates me, and really will keep me from ordering a Ford ever again. So much for a "conquest".
It is frustrating, when I ordered ours the dealer told us 6 months. I told my fiance 9-10 months minimum with all the shortages in the market. I was surprised when Ford said it would be here by the end of July, but looks like I was right in the end. I think Ford would do better to manage expectations for their customers and they would end up being in a better spot. I mean had they told everyone the expected wait is 9 months to a year and they delivered in 7 you'd be over the moon and if they delivered in 12 you would have at least expected it.
