Their message is totally messed up. It tells you it’s latest status without telling you where it happened. Then it says all that happened prior, but in reverse order, ending at the plant.

See if NS will give you information. I thought mine was going to be on CSX for the end of the trip, but it is NS. I was calling CSX and they still gave me information even though they aren’t the carrier. I think it is because they all use each other’s tracks.

If you call NS, don’t try to use voice prompts, it’s glitchy that way. Use the keypad.

I did but it didn't give me anything. I'll try again in a little bit....maybe it just hadn't loaded to their system yet?

26.5 hours and counting. I’ve gotten so good at obsessing that I made the mistake of searching “St. Louis” on this site. One person was held up for 6 days there ?

My UP estimate for final destination is 8/26, they originally said it wouldn’t be in St. Louis until tomorrow, then changed to this morning (after it was already there). I’m hoping they are wrong again, because the final destination is only a few hours away by train. That is, if it would actually start moving.

I know you’ve posted it earlier and I’ve tried to find it but there has been so many posts since then. My usual number says the office is closed and call back during normal business hours ??‍

Interesting to see the tracks through my neighborhood. Our local travels revolve around train traffic. The city one mile down the road has the unofficial motto, “LaGrange, a Train Runs Through It.” The whole town recently had a makeover on HGTVs debut episode of “Home Town Kick Start.’
