Now the dealer said they have added $5000 to MSRP because of shortages, like it is my fault. Cancelled order. I OUT!
Inquired about a Badlands from an AZ dealer before I ordered my own. Sounds like Earnhardt Ford to me. Very sleazy salespeople.

Yup, still in purgatory this morning. Will probably check again tonight, but I'm not sure if I'll see movement until Monday. Order was placed 4/3 confirmed 4/6. Congrats to all who have gotten theirs to the next stages!
You and I ordered almost exact same time too and I think we have the same day build or whatever. I ordered 04/02 and am 1579/2332. I think someone said that they made 2332 that particular day. That could potentially still be a lot of cars on hold for the week. Ugh!

I'm 1697, meaning your car was 118 cars ahead of mine on the assembly line. Definitely @ me if you hear anything about yours!

From the names I have listed from this morning forward, there are no March orders, only February (one late January) and April. It could have something to do with the order in which they are putting the microchips in (middle working out?). Maybe I’ll make a Google form for those left to fill out so we can finally have all the things that could be included on a microchip in one place. It looks like the moonroof (which includes the tech package), tow package, 360 Assist+, and the premium package (not sure what that is) are the main possibilities. The chips aren’t necessarily attached to a VIN, it is just the VIN that details what “extras” are included.

By the way, I have to apologize for the way I over analyze everything. It is a trait that works well for me at work, but can be off putting in the real world.

Absolutely! We are in this together! I chatted with a guy at the gas station who had one this morning and he loves it! I can’t wait! Makes me want it here now before the winter so I can get used to it before our crappy winters here!

I’m in this with everyone until the end, one last roll call so I can make a checklist of everyone left in @Ford Motor Company Purgatory ?

Respond with ”In purgatory“ and your ORDER date and I will add you to my checklist. I keep having to go back to that other list and it takes too much time to find my own posts.
In purgatory - order confirmed 2/12

I would be curious to see and what feature on an BS caused a group a car produced but not passed QC or whatever that stop them from calling these cars “built”. It appeared to me they knew something went wrong first week of July and held these cars up.

it is likely be a chip or a electrical/computer system as they have indicated since they performed master reset on our cars before calling them good to go. So that may rule out mechanical issue. Tho I really don’t truely believe their update status. That person updating these may have only a few choices on that pull down menu for updates…..Sometime they have to just pick one closest to what actually is happening.

I hope everyone can hang in there a little longer (myself as well as I was losing hope). There arent too many BS out there. I have been. Up and down most of the California the past week and only saw TWO BS BL, couple or few BB and one OBX.
And maybe two big Broncos. Ford definitely is not getting them out quick enough.

(Somewhere along I-5 in central California…. Someone is enjoying his/her BS BL)
