Nice, before you get the first oil change get the Ford Visa Card and pay for the oil change using the card. Not only will u get more points you will also get a $100 credit after spending $3000, Use the card to pay for auto insurance and gas too, anything auto related. The points add up quick. You will have to pay for gas and insurance no matter what, might as well get points and cash back. After you spend $6000 on the card you get a $200 credit, $300 total. Points and cash really add up, if you plan it you will have free oil changes for life and still have points for Ford parts and accessories.
Good thought but that Visa is not available in Canada.

I did as well. Of course I bought all the accessories I wanted already & got the prepaid maintenance plan…

Coincidentally my passenger side under dash cover arrived today though so I guess I’ll use some points for that. Easier than browbeating the dealer up over it. I’ll save the beatings for something important.
other than buying oil & filter I will probably use it to buy the engine cover - my husband gets a discount at Ford because he is a mechanic and buys a lot of parts from them. I will have to see if I can use the rewards in conjunction with his discount. Some fights are just not worth the few bucks.

This. ?. Pick your hill to die on. I honestly believe that if you battle for every little thing, particularly those that Ford has cut & they have no control over, you’ll use up all your goodwill with the dealer & they won’t come through for you when you really might need them to.
