Yeah, I figured that to be the case. I’m working with a low volume dealer, probably garbage allocation has contributed to my extra long wait. If they do right by me at delivery on price and making sure everything is right it will have been worth it. The high volume dealers near me make no bones about telling you up front they’re going to screw you on price because they know people here are impatient.
hey.. that's what I'm hoping for at this point. Once I know it's shipped - it's a quick transit process and the taking of the delivery is smooth with lots of incentives, price protection and smiling faces! End on a high note.

So has Everyone stopped contacting Ford for the most part and assuming that all of our cars are on the move since tracker still says the same And Jen’s seems to be moving in the country? I wonder if they keep track of how many times each person contacts them. They must be really annoyed with me….?

I sent a message to my dealer's inventory manager again this morning to see if Ford's given him an update on the status. I'll let you guys know when he replies.
Reached out to mine too. Ask if he could check with the trucking company. Heading home from my daughter's today and would hate to get a call as soon as I get home to come back...(not really but would prefer to stay if it's close)

No I contacted them yesterday...still the same " I don't understand why it's staying the same that's strange response "...

I decided to stop contacting. I tried on Monday and got kind of a crappy response. I've decided it's not worth getting my hopes up every time I contact them or the dealer. I'll continue to wonder and obsess. But, I'll wait for either an Email from Ford a call from the dealer that it arrived!

FordPass still not updating, so mine is trucking along (with yours, I’m sure). If they don’t make any stops, they will be in Illinois by Friday (although I’m sure there will be stops).

They do keep track! The last person I spoke to started reading from the notes in my “file.” I’m not bothering to call or Chat anymore.

Yikes. I don’t want to tick off the dealer either so I am going to wait until next week to shoot the salesman a text to see if he heard anything.

This is from my dealer. Definitely a tracking issue on Fords end. Though nothing really noteworthy other than some of their other orders are shipping with the same status as pending.

“Luckily it does seem like many of our orders are progressing and being shipped, however the updates in Ford's tracking system, across every order, all still say "Pending Update", however I have noticed a few different orders show movement and railcar numbers assigned despite having an expired ETA. It seems like a problem much higher than even our zone, but our rep will be here on Friday for a related inventory meeting so I'll hoping to have an answer in some form from him then. So sorry again for this tracking mess, I'm hoping there's a good reason for it like Ford updating the system to be more accurate or something like that. But I do have you right on a post-it here to check first thing each day-“

I just came back from visiting my dealer so I could get a trade in value on my current car. He asked if I had been getting email updates on the Sport and I explained what has been going on. He checked and said mine is in transit and looks to be on track for delivery on Monday, or at least within the delivery timeframe of next week. ?? He said he wanted to make sure it was actually shipped and not sitting because that’s been the problem they’ve been running into.

What is your rail system and container number, you can keep us up to date on its movement.

They have been super thus far in communicating with us. Typically I don't have to message them, they normally will shoot me a text or email if they have new info. I've just been getting more impatient since Ford has seemed to have "lost" this particular week's production run.
