Badlands Bumper Trim

Anyone with a Badlands care to clarify something for me?

The front lower (gray) bumper trim. Does it match the color of your grill or is it lighter? I recently had mine replaced and it doesn't match the grill, but it does match the gray trim on the fender 'vent'.

Is that right?

The lower plastic parts where the 360+ radar and the fog lights reside is a 100% match for the plastic trim that goes over the wheel wells and the rocker panel cladding. The grille is a carbonized grey that matches/complements the wheels and if you have it, grey roof.

I mean does the grill match the grey trim piece that surrounds the front tow hooks.

Wow, I don't think I would have ever noticed it down there, but it does. There is a carbon grey insert that goes around the hooks and across. Same kind of smooth, glossy feel as the grill.

By the way, I got a close up look at an Outer Banks today. It has a glossy black grille that is like the pillar trim, and there are vents instead of recovery hooks, but they have a glossy black surround piece instead of the carbon grey look. I'm guessing there are different pieces for each grille option. Maybe you got a wrong part replacement.

No, they come unpainted from Ford. The body shop then paints according to trim.

Can you shoot another photo a little lower so you can see that lower trim and the grill in one shot?
