Generally you can assume 7-10 days sooner (maybe even more!) provided there are no hangups like that bad train accident the other day. Ford's arrival estimate is the other kind of BS. It looks to be a general high end radius estimate and not an estimate taking into account any specifics. Ford estimated 5-6 weeks for everyone I know of in my area, but the 3 data points I have are 20 days (X2) and 23 days, all significantly better than ford's generic guesstimate.Nope but Ford email said arrival between Aug 7-14
UP is Kansas... And they run faster . Especially between El Paso and Kansas City ..Fairly sure it's not physically possible for it to have left Kansas yet unless your email lagged the actual shipment by a couple of days. CSX has an average speed of 15mph.
Interesting. Ordered 02/15/22. Never got any emails even though the dealership supposedly put the info in. Iāve had to contact them for updates all along. My BL was built 06/16 & shipped a few days later. I was had to get VIN from dealer too. Any idea why I never got emails from ford? ThanksNice! I have the same invoice date as you. All my modules are populated and Sync updated today. Says āIn Productionā on 6/1 so Iām hoping I get updated to Built today as well.
How do you find that trai/ train car info? I get nothing from Ford only by calling, frequently, was I able to get VIN from dealer. When I ordered 02/15/22 the sales person āsaidā Iād get emails but never happened. Now mine has been shipped but I have no idea how to locate which train/rail car. That would be awesome. As of yesterday my rail car was in Tucson Arizona. It had left the plant on 6/30. Only if I lived with my son in Maricopa Arizona I'd probably have my BS next week ?. Now the long wait to the East Coast.
16.5 vice 15. I guess over a thousand miles that will make a difference.UP is Kansas... And they run faster . Especially between El Paso and Kansas City ..
If the sales person put in the wrong email address you'll not receive anything from Ford. Some dealers put in their own email so they can be the sole point of information. At this point the only email you will get will be when the vehicle arrives at the dealership, and the dealer will likely let you know it's there before an email would go out.How do you find that trai/ train car info? Mine was going average 40 mph in Missouri... And one stretch in Kentucky it hit average 56 mph... There are a few higher speed upgraded rail sections around now.. Michigan has a long stretch on Norfolk southern16.5 vice 15. I guess over a thousand miles that will make a difference.

I hope it is sooner. It has to get all the way to Richmond VirginiaGenerally you can assume 7-10 days sooner (maybe even more!) provided there are no hangups like that bad train accident the other day. Yes. Railcars can get switched to different trains, but they aren't going to unload the vehicles and put them on other autoracks. So I thought I would try Ford Chat again... This is what I got...
"I appreciate your patience, Greg! It has Arrived at Junction Point (Ferrocarril Mexicano S.a. De C.v. )āRailcar # SP 516818 and is currently in Nogales, AZ. There is an ETA for delivery of your vehicle to your selling dealership of July 14th - July 20th 2022. You may also track the status of your vehicle order at any time with our online vehicle tracker at https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/...."
My question is will SP 516818 remain my rail car all the way through the journey? So can I track it via that number with Union Pacific?
