Shoutout to the guys at The Custom Shop AZ (@ Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ) for knocking out our 1.3” Billet Lift Kit from RTR Vehicles, 17x8 RR5-V Matte Black Wheels from Relations Race Wheels and mounting and balancing the 245/70 R17 BFG All-Terrains!

My wife and I love her Bronco Sport Badlands. Stoked on the way it turned out and can’t wait to hit the trails with it being just that much more capable.

Looks great! Helps me visualize.
Understand desire for lift, especially if planning off road adventures. I'm looking to add 235/70R17's, so about 1/2" narrower, and less in diameter than the 245's. Do you think there would be a clearance issue with a Badlands, primarily on roads, and tame forest 2-track / dirt roads? At this time not planning on a lift, and do not see any extreme articulation in my future.

235/70/17 is actually larger in diameter than 245/65/17 (30" vs 29.5")
Ford Bronco Sport OFFICIAL OXFORD WHITE Bronco Sport Thread 1650907941472

You can check different sizes here.

245/65/17 is a safer bet to avoid any issues with rubbing. That being said, just running a dirt/fire road occasionally, the 235/70/17 would probably be good too.

Yep, thanks. OP is running 245/70R17's, first I've seen going to 70 Series. I'm looking for extra snow clearance, while trying to skip a lift. And with holding to a narrower tread width (235), will it help compensate for the extra diameter of a 70 Series on hard turn clearance in the fender wells.

Very few Bronco Sports around here, let alone any modified that I can see in person.

I don't think it will help, because what seems to hit is more in the middle of the tread than on the edge. If you are looking to handle snow better, you should not be going wider than the stock 225 width anyway. If anything you should be going narrower. Wider tires make the car float on the snow/slush instead of biting down through it to the road underneath.

Tint, ReadyLift, KMC Wheels, and TOYO AT3 Added

Just added these upgrades to our Bronco (name pending, taking suggestions).

* Readylift kIt
* 17x8 KMC 708 bronze
* 245-65–17 TOYO AT3

So far a smooth ride, loving the choice we made to get a Bronco.

Thanks, wasn't aware of where contact happened. If the local dealer had a BS I'd go and put the tires through their turning arc, but no rush, just "air" building currently.

And yeah, know the height vs width rule, been driving in snow for 45+ years (yes I am.... "seasoned" :clock: ). Used to get in some knock down drag outs on other forums on this with the wide tire folks. Unlike sand, weight is your friend on snow.

Exactly! :clap: Thanks for the post, amazing when you see old clips of what they could navigate through. And to see one alive and still whooping it up, even better. The ground clearance does help too.

Yep, ealier working career I met a couple old timers which drove these and said they couldn't be stopped. Two wheel drive and prior to the advent of snow tires.

Liked the BS BB and it was a fun vehicle but decided to trade it in for my Maverick in March and upgrade to the OB. So ordered on 4/30 the OXFORD WHITE Outer Banks with Tech Package and 360 assist + and Cargo Management System. My wife is really looking forward to this one. Happy!

I absolutely love how this looks. Those tires and wheels especially with the white letters out just look great along with your other mods

I feel a little out of place here as I have a Kodiak Brown BL but perhaps an Oxford White owner can help me out.

I'd like to order this https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m2dz-7842528-b.html but i'd like to get it painted to match my white 'Bronco Sport' lettering on the hatch. I feel it would pop and contrast with the Kodiak Brown well.

Can you tell me if the lettering color is an exact match for your Oxford White paint?
