Hope the Ford Company is taking notice of which colours are the most popular and get rid of some of the blues for possibly some brighter colour's.
I think it’s safe to assume Ford does indeed keep track of what colours sell. Auto manufacturers do lots of market research. They know how many of each colour they build and which sell out faster. So It’s highly unlikely all colours in a given model year are built in exactly the same numbers.
And yet Cactus Gray, a very muted tone, is the most popular in our tiny little poll.
It happens, but sometimes it works out.
Probably because it is not blue, or grayish or the same old same old colours. It is different and was my 2nd choice.
In photos it looks off-white or very light grey with a hint of green to it. There are quite a few of these colours I don't recall actually having seen in person such as Alto Blue, Bronze Smoke, Cactus Gray, Desert Sand, Kodiak Brown, Peak Blue, Robin's Egg and Yellowstone.
It's actually a pale gray with a hint of blue-green, so you're close! No white in any sunlight. I've only seen Desert Sand and Robin's Egg in person.
My next choice will be Desert Sand, too many of the other colours around here.
If there were no Cactus Grey I would probably choose the Desert Sand. I also liked the Area 51 very much and was surprised when they discontinued it.

I was buying a Stressless recliner chair on clearance. My preferred colour was the red, but the red was a small, which fit me, but if I had guests larger than me a small wouldn’t be comfortable. So I went with a medium which was available only in a honey colour (think Ruby Red vs. Cyber Orande) as a clearance unit. The honey was still nice and I went with it. And good thing I did because the honey goes with my decor better than the red would have.
Btw these chairs are crazy comfortable. They’re not powered, but work on a mechanical gimble system. It adjusts to your weight and position. After a long day and dinner or if I’m the least bit tired sitting too long in this chair will put me to sleep. You feel like you’re being cradled. It’s crazy.
This is me too. I might do white next time, but went silver. Easier to keep clean & all that. Even if I’d have liked Kodiak Brown (my answer in the poll).
