First time I took the Bronco Sport in for the shuddering a couple weeks ago, when I picked it up there was wires hanging out from underneath the brake peddle area, a small box with red wires, when I went back the service manager said, "Oh they just go tucked in up here." I asked why were they left hanging out to start with. He didn't answer. Again, Rodeo Ford Earnhardt. They act like they don't have to answer my questions or answer with a question. Had to take it back because my headlights were off, almost got in an accident night before and he acted non chalant, then after taking it in to garage, he said that the headlights were both disconnected, I asked why and he said he didn't know because they didn't go under the hood, they worked under it. So I asked again, how did this happen? He said maybe someone is messing with me. Then I asked him if someone can open the hood if the cars locked, he said no. I said well it's always locked.

Doesn't sound like an honest dealer or service rep.

They should be able to detail all work and areas that accessed for service. Not only that, they should be checking; as a quality control process, all work and that all vehicle systems are working properly prior to releasing the vehicle back to the client.

I would kindly escalate this to the service manager and if no joy there, drop a note to Ford and look for a new dealer.

I have been a ford owner for over 30 years and still deal with the same dealer during all that time. I have never felt taken advantage of or doubted anything the service rep has advised me of. They constantly lead the pack for customer and Ford recognition and I know at least 8 others that have been customers for life there. They treat me like family each and every time.

Since becoming a member of this Forum, I have seen many comments here regarding dealer issues. I cannot fathom the amount of complaints about dealers and that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of owners ultimately pointing back to Ford. Ford reps also participated here in the Forum and would regularly chime into to issues like this.

If your not satisfied with the service, you have the right to escalate the issue, provide feedback and ultimately change dealers. I know it might not be convenient, but sometimes it needs to happen. If Ford and the dealer don't get the feedback, they can't change things.

Hope you can get some resolution!
