I haven’t done the math exactly, but I’m assuming it’s a percentage thing. X-Plan is done on invoice price, and I’m just assuming there’s a greater dollar value to play with as you move up the price ladder. The F150 starts in pricing almost where the BS leaves off. & at that $30K or so price point it looks like the difference between X plan & MSRP is about a grand.
well I guess it's better than nothing but your only talking $100+ dollars difference. For the price of joining a club it's almost not worth it if your getting MSRP. I can't believe the dealers are scamming us at MSRP but a couple years ago you can get way under MSRP without Xplan.
F-series has way more margin and way more delta between MSRP and invoice (thus Plan pricing). Bronco Sport and Maverick, for instance, have much less room between invoice and MSRP, thus Plan gets a much smaller discount.
