I recently installed a set of Roadshock Edge lights using their off-road harness, which connects to a three way switch (low, backlight, high). Everything is set up and working, except I'm not sure where to pop the pre-wired backlight on. It has one of those little splice clip things that people hate. I imagine it should be powered whenever the vehicle is on like the side markers?

Wiring is not my jam, so I could use as much help as a red circle, "clip it to this wire" sort of deal. Any help is appreciated!

I’m sure you’re aware and have reasons you don’t want to, but you could hypothetically wire into an add a fuse and go to your “switched on” #3 slot in the cab instead. That’s essentially what my diode dynamic backlight is plugged into.
I ran my Auxbeam fuse panel to the #3 fuse slot for switched on power and plugged my backlight wire into the auxbeam. I like being able to control when my backlights are on but that’s personal preference. ?
