Well I was standing behind my BS Badlands before the hurricane came through and used the key fob to close all the windows. I watched them go up and returned to my beer. Little did I know the key fob doesn't control the sun roof which was wide open! (BMW did) Needless to say my new car smell is no longer.

May my lesson learnt save you one day.

Dang...that's rough. At least the sport is designed for some cleanup. Bummer man.

OP thanks for pointing out the issue, lesson learned. If I get flooded it's my fault.

Unless you opted for no sunroof ;) but again, I know it's in the programing. If one Ford does it they are all capable.
My old 2010 Lincoln MKS did close all glass with key fob .

my dad had a Jeep Liberty. Took it in for service. He knew the kid working on it. Said his Caddy had tilt mirrors to see the curb/back up, and memory seats and wondered why the Jeep did not...the kid laughed and said yeah it does...it's just locked out on American delivery. The British versions include it standard. It's just a couple key strokes with the computer hooked up..boom...his jeep had tilt mirrors and memory seats. It was apparently in the codes. Not sure if that applies to all vehicles, but there was a guy here early on who had the bronco screen animation well before any vehicle was released, it was already embedded in the sync codes.

forscan thread

key part of that discussion
3c) Lincolns have a welcoming feature where the mirrors will automatically fold or unfold depending on which lock button is pressed on the key remote. So, if Ford uses the same ECU’s on everything, can we add the same functionality to a SuperDuty, F150, Fusion, Bronco or other model? Yes! It's practically the first non-option everyone enables.

apparently if the same ECU was used...it's possible. It's a little over my head at this point but reading his instructions and google doc, I think I am understanding how it works, and supports what the kid told my dad long ago.

Yes I read the whole article, after I got done with that my head was hurting, that is way above my pay grade. But there is something about For scan and ECU APPS FOR SURE.
