No, they don't. They hate me. I buy a new vehicle every 25 years or so and use it as a daily driver for 25 years. My vehicles rarely see a mechanic.Your mechanics love you for it!
It turns out that dirt/dust in an engine bay don't hurt longevity, but neglecting preventive maintenance does.
I do keep the exterior clean, though. I can't stand the look of a dirty vehicle.
