Plastic front splash guard/bezel also holds the wheel well liner in place.
Looks like I can remove the screw(s), remove the front splash guard, then replace the screws that holds (now) just the wheel well liner.

OOOOOH, that's what I wanted to hear. Plus as a bonus, how much horse power will I gain?

Careful, I'm an old man. Too much excitement could hurt me.

Removing the Splash guards gave me about 300 more horsepower

Hell if I know. They are useless and will make no difference what so ever
And ironically, those parts will not be what they will ever have a shortage of, causing delays in assembly.

Your right. I have been a car freak for 70 years. I can’t believe I had to buy an engine cover for my 2023 Big Bend. If I would have noticed it I would have had the dealership put one on or the deal would have been off. Oh well I have a Wrangler and a Gladiator and I love driving my Big Bend the most.

First off, the front "splash gaurds" for lack of a better word, are on all BS, minus the Badlands trim which has a 2.0L, not the 1.5L. My Guess is that Ford was trying to squeak out every last bit of gas mileage out of the 1.5L....Since the Badlands sells at much lower numbers and the gas mileage on the Badlands/2.0L is significantly less, so why bother?? IDK
I believe the BL is minus the front wind deflectors because it’s considered a more off-road vehicle than the other trim levels and they would easily get ripped off while off-roading.

Well, my Outer Banks BS got theirs removed this weekend. No worries now on striking a parking curb.
