Took a phenomenal trip up to Flagpole Knob in George Washington National Forest this weekend by way of Skidmore lake. Didn’t get a ton of great pics (terrain never looks as hard as it was in person), but it was some surprisingly tough terrain! Lots of sections where I was very grateful for my JCR rock sliders; can confirm they’re worth their steel. Something like 5k elevation climb, extremely satisfying to get to the peak. Encountered one of our larger bronco cousins on the way back down!
For a better write up than my weak one, it’s the same road as this trip report, though the path has gotten severely more washed out over the last few years
Never hurt for power, had 2 wheels in the air pretty frequently without losing traction on the others. Could have used a smidge more clearance, bonked my front slider a few times
