It seems almost every thread about tires here is in regards to the 17-inch rims.

I saw one thread with an 18-inch wheels and the Falken Wildpeak A/T 245/60 R18 was the recommendation. I know options are more limited at 18", but is that pretty much the only option? Is that the biggest tire that will fit without rubbing?

Thanks. Sorry if I missed a thread that covered this.

Picking up my BS OB tomorrow had the dealer install Goodyear Wrangler Trail runner 235/60r/18s. Did some research and find 245/60/18 is the biggest that will fit . Yes choices are slim
1. Good year Trail runner
2. Yokohama Geolander GO15
3. Toyo Open country III
4. Hankook Dynapro AT
5. Fallken Wildpeak AT And AT3W
I believe all are available in 225,235 and 245 sizes. Add a lift level kit and you can go bigger but not by much maybe 255. Hope this helps.

I read you can have occasional slight rubbing with the 245, the 235 is lighter and won’t mess with the speedometer.
I just switched the 225/18 to falken A/T trail 235/18 on a subaru forester and it’s already a big difference.
I can add some pictures later.

Hi! Hey, question for you - this is just the look I want for my bronco sport. If I get this same Falken A/T trail 235/18 tire, what width wheel do I need? I know I am going to get an 18” with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern but what width does it need to be? I can’t seem to find that info anywhere for an aftermarket wheel. Any idea? Thanks!

Most tire specs include recommended rim widths. You could check the specs for your preferred tire and search for rims within that range.
