The “Not” Drive Thru Tree

I did my tourist thing., visited the Chandelier
Drive-Thru Tree in Leggett, Calif. My roof rack added extra height and prevented me from driving thru the opening. I was advised to back my car up to the exit and take photos as if I had actually driven thru. Ha Ha!
I’ve been working in the Northern California
Redwoods this summer. I have seen fantastic
scenery and driven back roads. I will post some photos. My Badlands working fine.

Drove through this a few years ago in a rental RAV4...was terrified I was going to scrape the sides then have to explain to Avis why the car was trashed. Made it through unscathed, but it was a pretty tight squeeze.

I remember driving through that tree in a late 50's Cadillac. I used to live in that neck of the woods
