SYNC Update to fix incoming call issue

Ford Dashboard (website) - Your SYNC system will be updated to SYNC3 v3.4.21194
Vehicle Settings say SYNC3 Version 3.4 Build 21020.

Automatic updates say that it is up to date so it's not updating (Via wifi).

Dealer service department told me to try loading the update on a flash drive. Not sure how that is going to help if the vehicle says it's up to date. I guess I'll give it a shot.

I'm new to SYNC, does anyone know if the update just autoloads if I plug in a flash drive?

Also, I have randomly experienced a problem that is supposed to be fixed with this build which is why I want to get the update. When using Android Auto and taking an incoming call sometimes there is no audio for me and the caller.

After actually reading the instructions, it looks like it would auto install so will give it a go.

Leave BS off plug in USB start the BS sit back for 20 to 30 minutes. Or you could drive around that long without shutting down.

After realizing my drawer full of flash drives were too old/small to handle this update I finally picked up a new one tonight. Loaded the files and did the update. Piece of cake. Now let's just hope it fixes that issue, which it should as advertised.

If you are missing audio on some calls when connected to Android Auto, I'd recommend getting this update.
