Moonroof issue?

Hi, I placed my order at the dealer on 11/2 for a '22 OB with Tech Package + Moonroof in Alto Blue. I called my salesperson on Friday and they said they submitted the order Tuesday night to Ford while I was still there, but neither of us have even seen the confirmation/acceptance email.

I am wondering if this has taken long for other people? I have read from a few people they got an email from Ford the same day. Is trying to order the moonroof during a shortage causing them to not accept my order? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hm that is curious. I placed an order for a BL with moonroof, 360+ and tow package on Nov 1. Got the confirmation email the next day.

Wow. ok thanks for sharing I need to call my dealer again. Maybe he had my email down wrong.

The first week of Nov could have been wonky due to the plant closure. Have your dealer check and provide you a DORA. The DORA is the confirmation document sent by Ford to your dealer that lists the order and all the options you added. MY emails got screwed up initially and we never got a confirmation email, but then got a production week email.

I ordered a BS Badlands on 10/31 and Ford sent a confirmation on 11/1.

My dealer got the confirmation for my order the next day. It just took me three calls and over a week for them to share that info with me....

I would like to use this thread for updates on Moonroofs. My dealer really wanted me to get it without so I am wondering if it will take those of us who ordered one to get VINs/build dates. Anyone have a build date yet with a Moonroof? If so, when did you order?
