Ok so this is the 2nd time this has happened to my BS BB. First occurrence was around 3600 miles. After getting this problem "resolved" In March, problem manifested again. I had the cruise control set for 75MPH and suddenly lost power. The check engine and oil pressure lights illuminated. I pulled into a parking lot and checked the oil. It was at the proper level. I then drove home with the maximum speed of 52MPH. Luckily, we have some back country roads. The mileage on the vehicle was 7,992 miles and thankfully this happened near my home instead of the 1,200-mile trip I just took to Texas a few weeks prior. I made an appointment for the next day and drove the vehicle in for repair. I different fix action from the previous one. So, hopefully this is now fixed for good. I did speak with the sales manager about lemon laws ... if it happens a 3rd time then Ford will be contacted for replacement vehicle or refund. I'm not bashing Ford as I'm a lifelong customer and have owned Ford's for over 40 years. But, running to the service department every few thousand miles is getting old. Glad this is happening under warranty!
