Had a birthday on June 6 and decided to give myself a present. So dropped by my local Ford dealer and traded my OBX for its big brother a Bronco OBX. Initial impressions are it’s much bigger, you sit higher and gas mileage is a lot less. Interior appointments are really nice and comfortable. Haven’t put many miles on it, so observations are really limited. I’m sure I will miss the Sport as it has been a really great vehicle and served us very well. This was my second Sport, the first being a 2021 kodiak brown OBX that was traded for my wife’s Maverick and it too was a great vehicle. I hope the big Bronco is as good, time will tell, so far so good. I’ll still stop in as there’s a great deal of knowledge here and an abundance of humor. Stay healthy and safe. Rick

Too bad your birthday wasn't ten days later!

The full sized Badlands with Sasquatch keeps tempting me, though I know that I won't make use of it's capabilities and that the fuel use will be painful.

Well, so far I haven’t used the capabilities either. I enjoy the comforts of the OBX and the bulk of the vehicle and sitting up higher. The mileage isn’t great either, just around 19 which is what I expected for mostly around the city driving.
At my age there are so many things to enjoy and be thankful for. I’ll take this Bronco and be very happy with it. Life goes by too fast, sometimes you just have to grab what you can when you can. This is what I choose for now!
