Thanks that's a cool looking car is it a 429 with the 4 barrel carb or 2 barrel carb?I bet it runs pretty strong and those old 429-460's are smooth running engines..

My 89 Mustang with a 466 in it.

Thanks,did your 429 in your T-Bird come from the factory with a 2 barrel carb or 4 barrel carb?IIRC some of the 429's came with a 2 barrel carb.

It came with the Autolite 4300 4bbl. I don't think the 2bbl was an option in the T-Birds but many other 429 equipped Fords and Mercurys had the 2bbl
