Hey Everyone,

I have a 2021 Big Bend that I got used. Had about 9k on it and it now has 13k. I have been lurking on here for a while and understand all the noises that come with these vehicles but this one is different for me and it just doesn't feel right for a new vehicle or really any vehicle. I haven't been able to find a thread about this so if you do know of one please direct me in the right direction.

I feel like the RPMs while cruising around town in "Normal" mode get really low. If I use my cruise control and set it in the range of 35-39 mph, the vehicle will drop down to almost 1200 rpm or so and it's start to sound like it's going to conk out and it starts bucking until the the RPMs catch up. It is starting to happen a lot now and just driving the vehicle is starting to become not very comfortable. I almost feel like I always have to be in the gas to have it not make a clatter noise in the front and have everything smooth feeling.

Anyone else with this?

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco's shuddering on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Mine has a shudder around 1500 RPM in the coast in town - regardless of speed it seems. Town MPH is ~25 and I notice it most when it seems to be decelerating/wanting to down shift. It hits this coast where my foot isn't on the gas, or the brake, and it has a ch ch ch ch ch shudder noise. You can hear it in the car, not sure if from the outside, as I can't really reproduce it then. I've tried recording, but that isn't easy either with other noise. Giving gas stops it, braking and dropping the RPM quickly stops it. Just that "coast" range has it.

That’s what we experienced when test driving a BS with the 1.5.

It felt really bad and totally unacceptable, especially compared to our Escape’s 2.0 Ecoboost. It’s why we rejected the 1.5. We could not live with it. I don’t want to feel like I’m suffering from Parkinson’s.

I would not have ordered a Bronco Sport if the Badlands edition with the 2.0 wasn’t an option.

Either they all do it and people accept it for whatever reason or there’s something very wrong with some of them.

It's just weird because I'm very picky about my vehicles and how the feel and it did not feel like this a month ago.
