SO glad I found this thread. Same thing happening to me on drivers side mat. Two rainstorms in the past month led to puddled water (pretty decent amount) on my weathertec mat (thank goodness for those). Thought I left window open but that was not the case and upon further detailed inspection NOTHING else was wet (door panel, pillar, brake/gas pedals, flooring under mat). Have not taken to dealer yet but this sounds like a common issue but with MANY possible causes. Can’t wait. Glad I’m armed with this thread!! 6 months old and 5.5k. Unreal.

Good luck!! Have them check the windshield and the firewall. This is exactly what mine was doing and at about the same age. Apparently it takes a while for the windshield to start leaking. Hopefully your dealership is nicer to you than mine!! I have a BB that had carpet and my carpet even molded so they had to replace all of it inside my truck. Glad you have rubber!!

Hey there. I can look into your Bronco’s concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Good luck with this @mark917 …. Ford asked me for the same information and then washed their hands of the issue. They completely wrote me off and threw it back to whatever dealership I was working with… they helped with absolutely nothing and my lemon law was in place because the dealership had my vehicle for more than 30 days without it being fixed.

Thanks, JCJ. I'm not optimistic but no worries - between this, the injector and brake recall that I just can't get an appointment (no parts, no time, no loaners, etc) from my original dealership (Tom's in Neptune NJ - still awaiting a call back since Feb) Ill be sure to involve someone who can shake the trees with them or Ford directly. Love the BS but in this day and age its kind of scary that the QC and engineering on these things (especially since its based on an established platform like the Escape) is so sub-par. Too bad.

OK - so much for the Social Media team presence here and what's called the "SUV Support Team" at Ford. All they did was ask for information on the vehicle, send and email, and NEVER followed up even under threat of an attorney being cc'd on the email. I got an official case number on May 19th and actually was impressed with the initial attention. Since then, there has been no response or follow up even given multiple requests for assistance.

Had a lot for faith in Ford - even own their stock - but this is unacceptable. After searching the posts and finding SO MANY around poor follow up and support during a pretty scary bunch of recalls something needs to be done. This was the person it was escalated to. No response to a call and a couple emails.

I don't know all the details, and clearly you should've heard something before making threats. That said, I think as soon as you suggest you are seeking legal remedy you will likely cut off any further communication from customer support. At that point the only people you'll hear from will be Ford's legal team.

Yep. Sounds about right. Hopefully I remember all of this in the future when it’s time for my next vehicle. I knew better than to buy a Ford because of the crap Customer Service and Support, but I did it anyway… shame on me!
