So my power moon roof on my '23 BL stopped working around 8,000 miles. They ordered a new motor and replaced it and this failed immediately as well. They ordered another motor and made sure to bench test it (it worked,) but then installed it and it's not working. Ford is saying that they think it has something to do with the initialization process being incorrect even though they followed the protocol straight from Ford manual. They have a call into Ford (?corporate) for guidance but they now have no idea how long it will take to hear back and troubleshoot. Does anyone else have experience with this issue?

Oh yes, very much so. You have my sympathies.
My journey here:
https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/not-the-best-start-to-ownership-moonroof.11164/

Hopefully, your resolution doesn’t take as long as mine did (3 months).
I got mine back 10 days ago and apparently the moonroof now works, and they tested it multiple times over several days, and I’m sure it probably does work.
However, I’m just too hesitant to push that roof button now.
Absolutely makes the extra expense of the roof and the extra time I waited to get hold of this particular Bronco Sport with the roof, TOTALLY worthwhile. /sarc

They spent quite a while insisting the roof need to be initialised, then they replaced part of the roof track because they thought it might have been binding, before eventually discovering a motor had failed.

Hey there. Can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of the Ford dealer you have been working with? I would like to take a look at your moon roof issues on my end.
